I’ve been working with React for over 10 years now, and I still feel the same fascination and curiosity I had when I first started. The work is playful and engaging, involving both me as a dancer and the audience in unexpected ways. In every performance, we reimagine public space and create a set of rules that we feel best suit the setting. More often than not, the audience becomes just as excited as we are and joins in. That’s probably the best part—having fun together, while still offering depth for those who are open to it.
